Saturday Catch-Up: Change Management Tools

We recently joined forces with Matae to bring you an interactive review of Matae's new Change Workspace Tool. Our review has contributed towards the tool's pilot, providing feedback for the product roadmap. Matae has been making enhancements based on our feedback and will soon provide an updated version for us to trial and review. Insights from the Matae Change Workspace Review

1. Change Management Tools: We're Change Mates with Matae! (30 April) introduced our interactive trial. The web-based Change Workspace will be available as a free-standing tool designed to replace your spreadsheets and make change planning easier. When combined with organisational data, it claims to offer a complete workflow for managing your change deliverables, training, activities, risks, and tactics.project management tool designed for managing the people side of change.
   

2. Change Challenges are Universal (7 May) featured Matae Founder, Matt Dragun, who discussed the universal challenges change and transformation professionals face. Matt noted that the real gains from AI can only be unlocked through cross-platform access to data that will enable—and supercharge—predictive change management.
   

3. Change Management Tools: Change is all about the People (9 May) explored why we use tools. In change management, we want a place to store detailed stakeholder information, organise activities and timelines, and most of all, understand the people involved—who they are, how they fit together, and what support they need.
   

4. Change Management Tools: How Matae Change Workspace handles Change Activities (15 May) assessed the paramount criteria for any modern tool: how it handles change activities. We looked at what the tool considers a change activity to be, noting that modern tools need to bring in the best of the platforms that came before them.
   

5. Change Management Tools: Matae Change Workspace pursues data-driven change management (22 May) detailed how the tool is driving towards a single view of change. It's open to interpretation, allowing each individual change manager to pull together the metrics they want to see in a Business Readiness Assessment, including the inbuilt functionality of surveys and sentiment analysis.
